      <image:title>Services - Individual Counseling</image:title>
<image:caption>Individual counseling services are offered at a rate of $160 per 55 minute session. I am in-network with several insurance companies, see FAQs for a complete list. For companies I am not in-network with, I can provide a receipt/superbill to you to submit to your insurance company for possible OON reimbursement. I encourage you to reach out to your insurance provider to inquire about benefits. In recognition of the high cost of counseling services I also offer sliding scale spots in my practice. Contact me directly to inquire about availability.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a Seattle native trained as a Mental Health Counselor here in the Pacific Northwest. I completed my undergrad at the University of Washington after which I headed north for my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Washington University. Following my formal education I gained experience working in community mental health for two years before transitioning to non-profit work supporting grieving families in King County. My approach to counseling is relational, person centered, and trauma and grief informed. My counseling style also seeks to understand how individuals’ context and environment informs their strengths and challenges. Through recognizing how systemic factors impact us I seek to empower clients through an anti-oppression lens. I draw from several counseling orientations and theories including Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe personal wellbeing is something we all naturally move towards and counseling can be a powerful way to gain insight, identify goals, and seek change and healing. While I have been trained in a broad range of mental health challenges, listed below are areas that I have additional training in and/or have most experience working with. Trauma - including acute and developmental trauma Grief Anxiety Depression Psychosis Parenting/caregiver stress Family of origin issues Identity exploration Relationship issues Codependency Life transitions</image:caption>
